About me and my work

I have been painting for several years. As a child, I used to draw a lot with my grandmother, who was a famous Bulgarian ceramist with many international awards. Later on my life took a completely different direction, I played basketball professionally, then after I finished my Masters in Economics, I started working in the family business and still had no time for painting in my extremely busy schedule. That is until 3 years ago when I decided to give myself a birthday present. I bought paints, canvases and with fear picked up the brushes again. I now have a studio where I spend every free minute. I like abstract art and it gives me the greatest satisfaction. I mainly use acrylic paints. I really like to work with mixed media, using different materials and textures. Besides painting, I like to work with clay and make small sculptures from different materials 

With my art I want to provoke people and let them feel it in their own way. Everyone should ask questions, think, feel, interpret and see the picture with his perception. I like to make people think about my paintings.
